Jon Rappoport recently wrote this about Psalm 23 which inspired me to interpret the Psalm from a level of understanding that is probably missed by most. Since poetry and Spiritual writings speak on many levels. Which only means that your own present understanding of yourself is the “level” where you will comprehend the truth of this Psalm….but perhaps with an explanation a deeper truth that it points to can be seen.
The Truth in the Psalm goes from the very highest understanding where “nothing” can be said about it because any talking or mind understanding would just be a distortion by a lower level of understanding that has a viewpoint of “mind” vs understanding of the “HEART” OR HOLY SPIRIT. Since I have to use words in explanations that is a limitation but even so, that is the best pointer that we have to use to “FEEL THE TRUTH”…THAT…EVERYTHING IS SPIRIT and that is what I want to share with you. Here is what he wrote…and my ideas on it afterwards.

When I read Psalm 23 in the King James, I’m brought into some of the most marvelous and stirring poetry in the English language:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
To me, that Psalm is a majestic orchestra. The devotion it carries is boundless.
I believe many true Christians would agree.

So?…..What does “‘the Lord is my shepherd mean?”….
What it means is that the “LORD”….IS AWARENESS…..or “AWARENESS”…. is your guide to follow and…. “BE IN”….”IN EACH MOMENT” ….if you stay SELF AWARE….or… “you” not leaving that present moment of awareness and falling for thought or thinking or the world (green pastures” …that you”think” you see. This…” AWARENESS IS” …that which never dies or goes out. THAT IS THE LORD…. So in the first sentence YOU get the whole OF LIFE’S UNDERSTANDING that you will ever need. Since there is nothing more than that here always.
That “HERE”…is the PRESENT moment and that now moment always feels like…..”ME HERE”….which goes on to say that the proper course of your actions in life is to …”NOT WANT”.
NOT WANTING….means to not stray from the AWARENESS THAT YOU ARE….or….”I AM”…..and go into THINKING AND MIND. Which is where all the pain of life is “felt” because you are now in an amnesia state of mind where the LORD OR AWARENESS IS FORGOTTEN. So you have chosen a state of… “WANT”….by which you now think about life and are in a “lacking life experience”…..a because now YOU WANT MORE THAN THE AWARENESS THAT YOU ARE….OR …(you want the glitter of the green pastures more than “I AM” )….That is the state of “WANT”…or “sleep” or some say “sin”….vs… the state of AWARENESS….which you have forsaken or …”left”….by putting the very AWARENESS that you are on the mind state of… “WANT” ….or the “world”.
When you simply forget yourself and do that?…You now have left the Kingdom of Heaven for the state of HELL….illusion or the dream….imo.
“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me besides the still waters.”….Which means that “MIND HAPPENED”…or REALITY….had a dream from its mind and the world appears to be born and you appear to be born in it. …or “lie down in green pastures”. All true and how we see the world but at the moment that: ” we lie down in green pastures”…a state of amnesia happens at the same time because now something appears to be manifested and that takes all your…”you” attention away from….”the still waters”…which is AWARENESS.
This then “dream you” is borrowing REALITIES AWARENESS….and says “I AM A SEPARATE CREATION”….But “you” never notice the real “YOU”…which YOU ARE….that is the dreamer and appearing because of you within green pastures ….then mostly not noticing the “still waters”
This AWARENESS…..You lie besides…or “you”are in the green pastures in a divided or “duality” state of self perception that makes the present moment of …”THE STILL WATERS”…become forgotten or not noticed.which simply means that you as a dream character are not awake….but the reality is that there is never any “real you”….in a dream but the “REAL YOU IS THE DREAMER”…that is not noticed or the dream character is not aware.
Yet in the duality of the “green pastures”….there is really nothing to fear because…”He restoreth my Soul”….or the true meaning is that …”NOTHING HAS EVER HAPPENED TO YOUR SOUL”…because your Soul is the very AWARENESS THAT IS…..IN WHICH A MIND DREAM HAPPENS. The crucial point is to realize that even though “duality” and the whole world of green pastures are before you. NOTHING EVER HAPPENS TO AWARENESS…..so you are “restored”….once you notice AWARENESS AGAIN AND STAY THERE.
IT IS ALL A MATTER OF “SELF PERCEPTION”…..that is what Psalm 23 points at. It points at …”YOU HERE NOW”….or …”AWARENESS”.
“He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his name sake”….Which means that AWARENESS is leading YOU. or… is always here in this NOW MOMENT…for his name’s sake. Which means that the name of the “LORD” or “AWARENESS” OR “REALITY”….OR “YOU”…..is the name of “I AM”….Because what can you say when asked”…”who are you? or what are you?”…..”I AM”….
Because….”I AM”…. is what the state of “YOU”….OR …”AWARENESS”….”IS like”….. It is the state of …”I AM”….and that “I AM”….is very personal to you right now. Because it always felt like ….”IT IS ME”….or ..”I AM”.. IS ME”…!!!….or you are always here…(???)… when you experience anything… “IN LIFE”…or….”the green pastures”.
Next Psalm 23 says: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” …..

Which states again that even though the seeming separate “you” is living through the dual life experience of manifestation of a dream in REALITIES MIND….That manifestation is only a “Mind affect” or the appearance of “death” or a “separate” you having to face the seeming …”shadow of death”… That shadow…That is an…” illusion”… of a… “you”…. separately appearing IN AWARENESS. The Psalm then tells the affect appearing “you”…..”you will fear no evil”…because “evil”…is just the MIND Dream or is an illusion of that dream creating a separate “you” that it all life appears to be happening to. It’s just an appearance that since it is not “noticed”…a Psalm 23 was written as a tool to…”SELF REMEMBER”….and….”AWAKEN”….or save yourself that was never born and nothing is happening too….since the “you”…you think is there is an “affect” or a dream illusion.
So the “I”…of …”I AM”….has never nothing to fear since….(you’re not the dream character but the dreamer or AWARENESS OR “I AM” itself)…which is always with “you” as the living NOW MOMENT….of YOU AS “I AM”. ….AWARENESS which is “thy rod”….and That “SELF REALIZATION”…is “thy staff”….that you lean on…..and it is that which “will comfort me”….”ME”….comfort and self awareness and “I AM”….is the same thing as the moment and you being HERE.
It’s very simple and the different words that I use are just pointer to get you to notice “YOU” and the ME of knowing “I AM HERE, NOW”…That basically gives the whole explanation of “AWAKENING TO GOD”….and what “you’ have to do or notice.
Then, when you notice “YOU”…is when the “gratitude” is known by “you” as “YOU”…..and the Psalm points to that change of “SELF REALIZATION”….happening by stating the context. It says: “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
Now YOU found the key to the Kingdom of Heaven. Which is attention to the within facing self attention and focus on the…. “I AM”…which is always here in the “dream”….or “in the presence of my enemies”…which is the illusion of separation and a separate world and a separate “you”…when that is the “dream illusion” and the table prepared for you is that …”NOTHING HAS HAPPENED”….to the “I AM” of …”YOU HERE”….that is the “anointing oil”…Pointing to the awakening and the oil of the “third eye” in your brain or the physical oil of the pituitary gland becoming “liquid” or clear and not cloudy or hardened by illusions….that allows SELF REALIZATION…and “seeing”…. that “EVERYTHING IS ME”….or ….REALITY ITSELF.
SO….”your cup runneth over”…. because YOU ARE EVERYTHING AS REALITY….!
Psalm 23 ends by saying: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”….
That last line is the celebration of… “salvation:…”SELF REALIZATION”…..because NOW YOU HAVE FOUND “YOU” AS THE “I AM”….”THE SELF”….and that IS THE TRUTH OF REALITY……That is the only forever that exists. YOU CAN NOT LOSE YOU…You can not be or lose…”forever”…..and somehow not dwell in the house of the Lord forever? Where could such a state actually exist?….Since the LORD IS YOU AS AWARENESS…..YOUR REALITY….and THAT IS EVERYWHERE AND EVERYTHING…..So how are you not going to be YOU?….Where would sin be?….or how could “YOU”….as a Soul have even been created as a second “thing?”… and fallen from grace etc…..? You could …NOT… have and you can’t. YOU WERE ALWAYS SAVED!….Because you were never lost…..because NOTHING HAPPENED BUT A DREAM !….of green pastures and “you” lying besides still waters.
Understand this and you have it all….YOU ARE THE KINGDOM…..and the dream happens within YOU….and your not that dream….YOU ARE YOU.
