I know they think they won. I’m aware of that.
I’m just saying…
If they have to live with the real life results of their policies and ideologies, they lose. More than they can even fathom.
And part of me wants to see that transpire; for them to take the helm and then have to live with what happens when they get what they want.
But, of course, the USA would go down in flames if that were to happen for any significant period of time, so I don’t really want it. People think they have it bad because gas is 4-5 dollars a gallon. That is laughable.
On the other hand, if they cheated in the election, and this result does not reflect a true accounting of the will of the people, then they lose, whether they get caught or not. Crime doesn’t pay, though sometimes, in the short term, it sure seems like it does.

Here is what I think really happened. There was, undoubtedly, fraud. Just look at Texas. Overnight one of the reddest States becomes a massively blue State? I won’t argue it, because what’s the point, but it’s dubious, at best.
I think they went too far and put too much of a thumb on the scale for it to be realistic, but at the same time, the handling of the Epstein situation optically, combined with the timing of the war in Iran, did fracture MAGA enough to lose just enough momentum that the election results can (with enough plausible deniability) be palmed off to that, in the media and in general.
As a side note, Trump’s EO on Election Interference (Executive Order 13848—Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election) was recently renewed and is in effect.
Now, given what happened in 2020, it’s likely not many people will take this EO seriously and some will even laugh at it. Most will assume that it is toothless and I don’t blame them for that. The one major difference is that this is a mid-term and President Trump does not have to leave office in a couple of months like he did last time, when the intelligence agencies basically stalled him out. Have things changed since then? We will see. There is a 45 day window for anything that might come to light on that matter.
If the results stand, then undoubtedly the Dems will spend much of their energy trying to impeach Trump, because being anti-Trump is almost the entirety of their agenda at this point, other than the cultural things they are well known for.
This story isn’t near over yet, so it’s hard to comment on the actual ramifications of what went down last night. As far as some of my friends go, I’m sure they are extraordinarily pleased about it, and in a neutral way (removed from the harsh realities of cause and effect) I’m happy for them that they’re feeling so good about it, though I would caution to not get too deliriously happy, while you are tip-toeing along the edge of a cliff.
As for me, I feel perfectly fine and totally calm. I have long said that President Trump was an instrument of God. Similar to Biblical figures like Cyrus and David, who were no angels to be sure, but anointed by God for a task. If you’re an atheist, then that would make me basically crazy, because you believe in the works of men and women alone, and things they create, some of which are corrupt, and some of which possess true genius, such as the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.

While I still fully support the Presidency of Donald J. Trump, I also recognize that he is a fallible human being. He’s a marvel of work ethic, especially to a guy like me who does his best work in his bathrobe, with a cup of coffee and a lap-top. I couldn’t do what President Trump does for even a week, let alone 10 plus years of non-stop 24-7 grind on 4 hours of sleep a night. God bless him. He’s made some mistakes, to be sure, but I’m riding with him all the way to the end of this one. No doubt this last midterm election cycle of his Presidency will weed out whatever sunshine patriots there might be left at this stage.
But in conclusion, the real reason I feel absolutely fine today and not even a little bit doomer is because I am not a “follower” of Donald Trump. I am a follower of Christ. The Alpha and Omega.
I already know that I am going to lose everything one day. I will gradually get older and older (if I’m fortunate) and one day I will face the end of my body and all of my trials and tribulations, all of its joys and sorrows and loves in this world. I will face my own definitive end in this world.
And whose hand will I reach for then?
And who could even help, when money and medicine and technology are of no use whatsoever to me and my time is up.
I will reach out for Christ, of course, and call out to Him.
And by extension, the One who sent Him.
There is no other that can help me. The Creator is my salvation and my only hope in this world and whatever lies beyond it.
Until then, to quote Monty Python and the Holy Grail… “I’m not dead yet.”
To whoever might be out there, feeling despondent about the results of last night, this story ain’t over yet, my friend.

Donald J. Trump is still your President. And everyone else in the United States too. For the next 2 plus years.
The best writers know that you don’t have a great story without a false ending. And for a truly great story, you need two false endings.
And now we got our second one. Right on time.
I encourage everyone else who is against President Trump to feel the absolute maximum amount of certainty that you got this!
