(Reader: Gustav S) Freedom is Not Free

Freedom is best defended by individuals – each of us doing our part,
Wherever We Live, Whatever Our Circumstances.

Freedom is Not Free
Either to Obtain, or Maintain.

The Price of Freedom of Expression comes with the price of kindness and civility, even toward those who express views we don’t share.

The price of Freedom of Worship includes respect for religions and faiths besides our own.

The price of Freedom from Want includes sacrificing and serving those in need.

The price of Freedom from Fear includes facing our fears with faith and courage.

Freedom is not just a feeling, or pronouncement.

Freedom is found in what we do each day, in the thoughts, efforts and actions of a Free People: Respect. Compassion. Peacemaking. Understanding.

It’s True: Freedom is Not Free,
And, as long as we are willing to pay the price,
The Future of Freedom is Bright.

I agree with all of the above, but Freedom also mandates the peoples of our land no sit quiet when they see it being taken away from others, for they could be next.

Religions really need to understand this. For example, the Baptist of Texas in the 1990’s condemned a group called the Branch Davidians between February 28 and April 19, 1993 kept complaining to the State to rid their community of them. The State refused because of the First Amendment, so they complained to the Federal Government and we all know what occurred. 78 children died, as well as the adults. If anyone saw the video taken by bystanders, they would have seen a tank break into the house and when it pulled back out, a woman was on the end of the tyrant which turned slightly to wipe her off of it on the side of the building and fire was coming from the tank into the house. Yale and other Universities showed the Government fired the first shots, but everyone was told these were bad people because Christian Baptist would not respect these people’s freedoms.  Freedom mandates respect to all who hold a different view from your own. People judge illicit drug people while they sit back and use narcotics (alcohol, tobacco, caffeine) which kills as much or more than all the illicit drugs combined because they have no respect for other freedoms, they just say “I” and “the hell with you.” Such belief systems helps destroy our land by affording corrupt  people into office to use this hatred to help take control of freedoms through corrupt courts and afford police powers not allowed by out constitution.  People need to wake up. I’ve even heard Patriots do these things against others yet voice the constitution while doing it. This land needs to tach people we all hold freedoms, not just “I.”

Thank you for the Freedom part. You can quote me if you wish.
