As rumors abound of the Russians cutting off all natural gas and oil to the world excluding China, and Iran blocking the Straits of Hormuz excluding China, which would cut off nearly half the world’s oil supply, the Russian nationalist Sergey Glaziev is dramatically rising in influence in Russia as reflected in the following article by Pepe Escobar, a former preeminent writer for RT and Sputnik, and most recently the prestigious Asian Times. He has deep connections into Moscow at the highest levels. Russia has just notified the United States that the agreement with Iran is not acceptable:

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Friday that Moscow is demanding guarantees from the US before backing the Iran nuclear deal, citing the current wave of Western sanctions against Russia.

It does not matter if Iran blocks the Straits of Hormuz or not as Russia has the military capacity on its own to do that. Iran’s Chinese and Russian missiles line the coasts of Iran facing the Straits of Hormuz that would prevent any oil tanker from passing through if they so choose to block it as described in the next two links.  In my analysis in link two I cite the highest US military authorities one of whom advised me over lunch at the Harvard Club that the US military cannot keep the Straits open and that the US would face financial Armageddon in the event of its closing.

According to Goldman Sachs oil derivative specialists, the shutting of the Straits of Hormuz would send oil price to one thousand dollars a barrel which would make the cost of oil over 40% of the world GDP, and crash the New York Stock Exchange as the 1.5 quadrillion of world derivatives implode creating in Warren Buffett’s words the triggering preeminent financial weapon of mass destruction. The United States would be essentially destroyed by Russia without firing a shot just by the announcement if it were made Monday morning. Thus, Putin’s nuclear threat may not be necessary.

I predicted this Ukrainian conflict in my speech to the Duma Peace Conference on July 2, 2019 entitled “Will Russia Have Peace?” below. Here I described the 25 million Russians cut off by the dismemberment of Russian Motherland by the US CIA agent Boris Yeltsin as similar to the dismemberment of Germany by the Treaty of Versailles which cut off millions of Germans from the German Fatherland. It was going to be a cause of war and now it is the cause of war. The question is whether it will be the cause of World War Three.

I warned my CIA colleagues at the time (1989-1991) that it would come back to haunt us as I recommended bringing back Russia as the Prodigal Son in Luke as they exited Bolshevism but number one said that the Russians had troubled us since 1945 and we are not going to forgive them according to your Christian ideas. We, he said, are going to break Russia up into fifty countries and set up looting oligarchs in each to transfer their wealth out of the country. And then they laughed, and clicked their champaign glasses saying bravo! bravo!
