The moon might be an alien junkyard
Scientists now want to sift through lunar dust looking for microscopic scraps left behind by other civilizations.
If any advanced species ever built machines in our galaxy, tiny fragments of those ships and probes could have drifted through space for billions of years and settled on the moon.
The moon has no wind, no rain, no atmosphere. Whatever lands there just sits there. Forever. That makes the lunar surface a frozen archive of everything that ever passed through our solar system.
A SETI team is now arguing we should treat moon dirt as a possible treasure chest of extraterrestrial leftovers.
If we find even one particle that doesn’t belong here, the “are we alone” debate is over.

NASA astronauts photographed a dark, jagged object circling the planet in 1998. Conspiracy circles immediately named it the Black Knight. They say it has been in polar orbit since before the pyramids, bouncing radio signals back at us for over a century.
Nikola Tesla claimed he picked up strange numbered pulses from space in 1899. Later engineers recorded long delayed radio echoes that some mapped as a star chart pointing to Epsilon Boötis. In the 1950s, newspapers reported mystery satellites years before any nation could launch one.
Officials say the famous photo is just a thermal blanket that floated off during a spacewalk. The object later burned up. Believers say that explanation is too neat for something that old and that quiet.
If it was only junk, why does the story refuse to die?
