GIANTS FROM A CLAY JAR: THE MOST SHOCKING DESCRIPTION OF THE NEPHILIM WAS FOUND NEAR THE DEAD SEA
In 1947, a Bedouin shepherd near the Dead Sea threw a stone into a cave – and heard an ancient clay jar shatter. Inside were scrolls, sealed for nearly 2,000 years. Among them was a truly sensational text.
An ancient document that names the Nephilim, records their genealogies, and shows how they foretold their own extinction.
It is the Book of Giants – an Aramaic text from the 2nd century BC found among the Dead Sea Scrolls.
The giants Ohya and Hahya – the sons of the Watcher Shemihazah.
Mahaway and others.
They were the descendants of the “sons of God” and human women.
Monstrously strong, violent, devouring everything around them.

And they knew the Flood was approaching. They dreamed terrifying visions of the end. They sent a messenger to Enoch to learn their fate.
The text is not an allegory. It is a detailed, vivid account of a race of hybrids that existed before the Flood.
The fragments were found in the Qumran caves (4Q203, 1Q23, 6Q8, and others). Scholars carefully studied them and confirmed their authenticity.
One of the most detailed ancient descriptions of the Nephilim that has survived to our time.
This discovery is a breathtaking window into the world of ancient times, which was far more astonishing than we could ever have imagined.
The Dead Sea Scrolls continue to reveal the treasures of the past and help us better understand the biblical context.
The ancient world is full of mysteries that continue to amaze the imagination!
