Spread Kindness Through Communication
For the last month or two, I’ve been inspired to communicate more with everyone I come into contact with. Whether it’s in person, online, or over the phone, I have opportunities all the time to spread kindness this way.
It’s so easy to do this. Strike up a conversation every time you come into contact with someone.
People love (yes- love) to talk. But they don’t get very many chances for a pleasant “How are things going in your neck of the woods?” conversation. They don’t know me, and I don’t know them, but in just a couple of minutes, I can find out they’re going dirt biking tomorrow, or the weather is so hot and humid in Florida today, or you name it (all kinds of things).
Even more important than that, I feel better, they feel better, and we are all doing a little better because we have communicated with our fellow humans. We used to do this all the time, back in the Little House on the Prairie days. But now in the 21st century, what an isolated world we live in.
Liven it up with love and kindness, spreading it to everyone you encounter.
