When 9/11 occurred, as wild as it sounds because it makes me feel old, Social Media did not exist when it happened. At best, there were only web-chats…
We did not have smart phones and mobiles phones generally did not have video recording capabilities…
We’re learning so many things decades later because of the internet and us sharing information…
What’s so mind-blowing is the cognitive dissonance involved, to imagine that so many agencies and people within our own government were in on it… it’s so surreal…
The U.S. government played a role in one of the most devastating attacks on American soil to justify invading and occupying Middle Eastern countries. This also led to widespread acceptance of measures like the Patriot Act, which enabled significant government overreach… and the further erosion of freedom in America.
Sometimes I wonder how devastating it would be if the truth were ever truly disclosed… Can the public handle it?
