How is it going out there for you, lovely Light Warriors..?

Today I experienced the local cafe culture as I met up with my two daughters separately. Cafes are a rare experience for me. I don’t drink coffee or eat sugar, and I struggle with background noise as I am a bit deaf. So the cafe scene offers very little to me. I would rather have a cup of tea at home. 

Anyway…I was fascinated to see how much people are paying for their daily fix of coffee and cafe snack/lunch. Cafe visits are considered essential to many people in NZ (and globally). Yet this expensive exercise – for some people it is daily – knocks a big hole in financial outgoings. 

Also, cafes are a major distraction away from the TRUTH of what is happening on the planet. Look here, not there. It is the same situation with sport. Sport and cafes are two of the major national distractions here in NZ, and those who follow neither (like me) are in a tiny minority.

Enough of my ranting…!
