Hello,
I wrote this article back in July when it began to look as if we were being played for fools. It is set in early 1964 in Venice.
I’m not sure yet that it is not more prescient than creative and we won’t know for quite a while even if things, or, especially, if things look to have erased the Oligarchy. It is, I suspect, like one of those infections you think you’re eliminated only to have it come back and knock you back on your behind, once again. And we won’t know for sure for a good 20, 40, 60 years, maybe longer. Funny that.
