Now, one wonders how they got away with it…. Had to have some powerful backers!!! The railroad companies not only owned land the railroads were built on but also a lot of surrounding land.
Just read that France is now stealing their own citizen’s wealth, I suppose, from the banks. “Those people” are so into tradition.
