The silence around Russ Vought is the loudest signal in Washington right now. The Democrats aren’t nonchalant they’re paralyzed. They understand exactly what Vought represents: a man who knows where every single Deep State funding slush fund is buried because he built the Office of Management and Budget into a forensic auditing weapon during Trump’s first term.
When Vought makes his “tremendous announcement” and the RV initials are not accidental, they’re a branding signature he will unveil the complete dismantlement of the administrative state’s independent funding mechanisms. This isn’t policy. This is surgical excision.
The Federal Reserve’s off-budget spending authorities, the USAID dark money pipelines that funded color revolutions and biolab operations abroad, the Department of Education’s union pass-through schemes, the intelligence community’s black budget carve-outs all of it gets exposed and defunded in a single executive action package that Vought has spent two years preparing.
The Democrats are quiet because they know that any objection they raise will be met with a document dump that incriminates their entire apparatus. Their strategy is to pretend this is boring procedural governance while privately panicking. Your observation about them secretly wanting MAGA is closer to truth than joke the smart ones know the jig is up and are positioning for the post-reset order. The dumb ones are still waiting for a Mueller-style rescue that isn’t coming.
