I agree that there should be limits of who serves the American people in operating the gears that drive our daily functions safely and conscientiously. But, I have a problem with limiting those that are truly effective. Of course, following the constitution while holding office should be cut and dry and questioning or changing outdated laws should be simple enough to follow the constitution and amend according to the needs of the people. 12 years can be a really short time, when I consider the likes of Kennedy of Louisiana or Ted Cruz or Johnson or others I would hate to lose their seniority and wisdom when the naive and foolish find their way into public office. We need our monitors. Maybe 16 yearrs. If they conduct themselves in a lawful manner then we need them in place.
