While I very much understand your thought process on not using the red pill metaphor, I believe it still to be the best description for someone not awake. You are assuming that someone not awake understands the Big Pharma connection with the term red pill and drug addition and the “on purpose” use by Big Pharma to poison mankind.
What I believe you missed is that someone who is asleep doesn’t think in that manner. They are coming from a totally 3d matrix point of view and in that matrix, the movie The Matrix uses that red and blue pill contrast to introduce the concept of either remaining asleep or being brave enough to hear and recognize the truth. To someone still asleep, that red pill metaphor is perfect – they do not know what they do not know and the red pill at that level of understanding is intended to “shock” them into a possible new reality.
Once awakened, that red pill metaphor will mean exactly what we who are awake knows it means – the introduction to someone sleeping to the true reality of this matrix we are all still residing in.
I understand where you are coming from, but your point of view is coming from someone awake. The red pill metaphor I think should remain in place representing those who are still sleeping.
