Dear White Hats, Patriots & Other “Awakened” Beings, 7/18/23
*Here is the problem with the “Red Pilled” metaphor vs. the “Blue Pilled” metaphor:
I heard a Patriot say they were Red pilled recently. & I cringed.
#1. Big Pharma: This “Pill” metaphor is based on Big Pharma & pills, drug use & addiction — as though these things are healthy, awakened & enlightened behaviors that are admirable & should be imitated and emulated. Pill behaviors are not healthy. Language is powerful in the way it affects our brain’s neuronal synaptic connections — even metaphors used in daily conversation affect our spiritual essence. The only other worse metaphor would be someone saying: “I was Red gunned today — vs. Blue gunned or Red genocided vs. Blue genocided today”.
#2. Alternative Metaphors: Rather than saying I was Red pilled recently — Perhaps it would be wiser to say any of the following: I became enlightened recently or I am now awakened or I am on a new path seeking the truth or I am liberated or I am beginning to discern the truth more than in the past or I have had a divine awakening.
#3. Audience: I challenge the audience to come up with a better metaphor than the Red/Blue pill metaphor — to mean I was enlightened today.
