Just an election comment that would be great if it got to the powers that be in control of electing judges. As we have seen from the past 5-10 years, what a HUGE difference judges can make in determining who is prosecuted, what is buried, how riots are handled, how bail is handled, and how laws, from local to federal are enforced. It has been made plain to even the most trance induced sheep that the difference between an Obama appointed judge versus a Trump appointed judge can influence everything on whether you are mandated to wear a mask and take an experimental jab, to doing whatever unlawful thing you want if you are a member of BLM. At the local level, p--------s can skate free and schools can indoctrinate your children if the local judge is controlled.
In my state, we elect judges and NOTHING is ever published about them. Not their record, their affiliations…..nothing. I have no idea who I am casting a vote for when it comes to judges. Judges are supposed to be nonpartisan, unpolitical, and squeaky clean, and thus they are obscured. We have found that to be much further from the truth. Many are controlled and have very strong opinions, about things that affect all our lives.
I think it should be made a law, that judges have a designation by their name, on a ballot, that shows what party they are registered to vote under. In addition, their affiliations and ruling records should also be made mandatory to be publicized. I have voted every election since I was old enough to vote, and every time I vote, I have felt frustrated that even a voter that educates themselves on candidates, can never find a clue about anything on a judge they are supposed to elect or try to prevent from office.
The veil of secrecy needs to be lifted on judges. With crime out of control, and criminals being released to commit more crimes, even the uninformed and unaware now have their lives affected by how a local, state or federal judge may rule.
If we are going to change election laws, this is one of them that needs to be addressed.
