I apologize didn’t mean to rub you the wrong way.
In passing this way if there is any good that I may do or any deed that may be asked of me ask of it for I shall only pass this way but once.
We must always remember.
That in the end the respect we get is equal to the respect you gave,
We all see things different
Once as I walked through the park at dusk
I sat on bench next to a man named Guss
I said oh what a sight as the sun sets at night
And he said
Yes you can see all the trees man has burned to the ground
I said see the bird as he flies to the tree’s
And he said
Soon it will be autumn and I have to rake all the leaves
I said see the squirrel as he runs and jumps with a bound
And he said
If he’s not careful he’ll be squashed into the ground
And I said
I see your a man who thinks life is a pain so I will be off and you can be on with your game
We are all in this together
Try a little kindness a hundred years from now
no one will know the difference

About 40 years ago I worked in super market. There was a young man with Down syndrome he would come each day and say good morning to me every day. On this one day he came to say good morning he looked at me and said what’s wrong you look worried and I said I’d rather not say and he said when I’m worried I figure out what type of worry it is if it’s the kind where your worried about the sun coming up tomorrow there’s nothing you can do it will come up so I stop worrying but if it’s the kind were you offended someone you can go and apologize so all you have to do is figure out what type of Worry it is and I looked at him with amazement and I realized at that moment no matter educated or uneducated or what ever someone’s ability is you can learn something of value from everyone how you see that value is up to you
Respectfully yours
An Ardent Patriot
