James Paul McCartney was born on 6 – 18 – 1942 in Liverpool, England. The piano player played his left-handed bass guitar and wrote and sang for the Beatles until 1970. Thereafter he had a great career, especially with the band ‘Wings’, and with many other famous musicians such as Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. McCartney might be the best selling artist of all Earth time. His songwriting with John Lennon holds the partnership record. He has written or co-written 32 songs that topped the Billboard charts. The Beatles ‘Yesterday’ is the most covered song in history, being performed by more than 2,200 singers and recorded by over 1,600. As of 2020 Paul was worth an estimated 800 million English pounds.
