The Canadian convoy conveys a message of freedom.

The following poem for the truckers is public domain, so permission is granted to share freely.

May your roads be paved with the golden-white light of Christ Himself

The Canadian Kick-A-s Ride

You can’t take our freedom away
We come on a cold winter’s day
We drive across this sacred land
In Ottawa we make our stand

–

A government formed to service me and you
Not to tell Canadians what we must do
So the big rigs roll across our land
Truckers sitting in God’s peaceful hand

–

Yes, we’ve had quite enough
Of this crazy medical stuff
They can’t override our freedom law
Truckers in a convoy to Ottawa

–

The public’s out, waving them on
Numbers and compassion make them strong
A shooting star, a sign of the times
Fifty thousand truckers in a line

–

The cup of patience, she’s run dry
Under our beautiful Canadian sky
The cup of action, she overflows
Truckers on the high road as it snows

–

Men and women upping their gears
Liberty calling after falling for years
The government’s down to its last straw
Truckers in a convoy to Ottawa

The Manitou blesses all souls on the way
Their freedom of speech, their right to say
The trucker families, loved ones all
Everyone who’s in for the long haul

–

Unmask the government, stuck in my craw
Change the aces and faces in Ottawa
18-wheelers turn the tide
For our freedom, far and wide

Ottawa, this is a kick-a-s ride!
