This constant reference to the “1776 Constitution” has to be the height of ignorance or stupidity…..once last time”
July 4, 1776, signing of the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, NO damn “constitution”!
1781 Articles of Confederation
1787: colonies default on loan from Bank of England for fighting Revolutionary War (yes, Bank of England funded BOTH side), first version of the proposed Constitution (bankruptcy charter wherein the states agreed to take on the debt of the ‘federal’ government….this version failed
1789 ( NOT “1776”): second version of the proposed Constitution…. many refused to sign this version also, and it was only after the Bill of Rights and its Preamble were approved that this version WAS passed
1791 (ALSO NOT “1776”): final version was signed AFTER successful addition of the Bill of Rights AND its Preamble, which do NOT ‘give “constitutional rights”, but IDENTIFY the PRE-EXISTING “Creator-endowed UNENUMERATED UNALIENABLE rights, providing a RESTRAINING ORDER against government infringement on ANY of those rights, NOT just the enumerated ones in the Bill of Rights
