Washington DC is shut down, and has been since last January. Dept of housing, CIA, FBI and many other federal buildings are empty.
All the buildings, buses, streets, metro, etc are empty Mon-Fri. The city fills up with tourists Fri-Sun. I took these photos Monday morning.
The doors are locked at the other federal Buildings and they are protected by guards. No one is inside them that I can find. So many small biz are closed here forever.
Where are the pictures? I and thousands of others will not be able to travel to Washington DC to see for ourselves due to travel restrictions, lack of travel monies or old age.
I believe the post wholeheartedly but if you have picture proof, please share if it’s allowed. I’ve seen videos in the past from January 2021 on but nothing of late. I’m grateful the area is closed. For decades many wicked deeds and evil acts have been committed in DC and have been dealt to we the people including children. I am saddened for those who have lost their businesses in the area.
