Chapter 8 of Brian Clegg’s book ‘A Brief History of Infinity’ advances into indivisibles and the basis of calculus.

Chapter 9 goes into Newton and Leibniz, who developed calculus.

We use Leibniz’s symbols for calculus today.

Shifts Unfolding

Indeed, this is forever – as in truth is nothing and no one who can now stem the tide of freedom sweeping the old earth for those souls who wish to attain the infinite freedom of the new life blossoming forth now.

Infinite possibilities are opening up.

Infinite creation.

Infinite life.

There is literally nothing more to cling onto – let go and forgive and allow yourself to be transfigured into the New.

In truth we are all One.

The Divine is infinitely present within every single soul and every form of life on earth and beyond – Universally and Omniversally.

All is One Heart, One Soul, One Divine Infinite Being within the Divine Source.

Chapter 10 is mostly about Bolzano, who found an equivalent to Galileo’s observation that each square (of a whole number 1, 4, 9, etc.) could be allocated to one of the counting numbers, meaning that somehow the apparently different infinities of all the positive integers and all of the squares were in fact the same. In the case of all the fractions between 0 and 1, he showed that there was a one-to-one correspondence with the infinity of fractions between 0 and 2.

Chapter 11 “Curiously, the prime inventor of set theory, the father of our modern understanding of infinity, is not a name that is on everyone’s lips.”

A set is a group of things.

I can’t resist: How about an infinite number of mathematicians arguing about nothing.

So ‘nothing’ is the foundation – nothing keeps the sets or groups together – including the set called humanity.

Nothing will keep us together.

+ a listener can attach the foundational meaning of ‘nothing’ in set theory to the word ‘nothing’ in the lyrics,

+ the juxtaposition of the time concepts ‘one day’ and ‘for ever and ever’, and

+ out of the infinite number of possible interpretations of this song, one is that it parallels today’s world.

I dedicate this fantasy interpretation to Beloved Queen Romana.

I leave the word ‘guns’ to the reader’s mind, but I have envisioned harmless soft-shot 50 cal potato guns.
