What If We’re the Primitive Species Watching Probes We Don’t Understand
Sometimes I wonder if the UFO phenomenon we witness here on Earth is comparable to a primitive species we cannot detect on another planet in the solar system that witnesses our probes orbit and land on them.
We send orbiters, landers, and rovers to Mars, Europa, and Titan and call it science.
What do the local observers, if they exist at all, see when a metallic object drops through their sky, deploys instruments, and begins drilling?
Do they file reports, argue over blurry footage, and wait for official denial while the craft continues its work?
Our own pilots and radar operators describe objects that outpace our fastest aircraft, hover without propulsion, and depart at will.
The pattern looks less like invasion and more like survey.
If another intelligence is conducting the same kind of low impact reconnaissance we perform elsewhere in the system, the question is not whether the craft are real. It is whether we are still too early in our own development to recognize the program for what it is.

The next probe may already be on station while we keep arguing over grainy video.
