Today’s UFO files: Federal agents watched a silent black triangle hit ~1,800 mph from a dead hover over a secure U.S. site…zero sound, zero heat signature, zero propulsion, and officials admit we’re years away from matching it.
Black Triangles Over Sensitive Sites Aren’t Ours
Three federal agents just watched one climb, hover dead still, then drop into a canyon without a sound in June 2026.
The PURSUE files from today finally put government eyes on the classic black triangle and the description doesn’t match anything we or our adversaries fly.
The Department of War dropped the seventh PURSUE tranche: 28 PDFs, no video this time, but the standout is AARO memo D176 plus the matching FBI FD-302. Multiple federal law enforcement agents at a sensitive national security site in the western U.S. (location and exact day still redacted) documented a matte black, non-reflective triangular craft of extremely low aspect ratio. Wingspan 13–15 feet, length 6–9 feet, thickness only 1–2 feet. Seamless. No rivets, panels, windows, canopy, propulsive apertures, or any structural features at all.
Around dusk, roughly 8:23 p.m. local, it rose vertically about 200–300 feet above the ridgeline in roughly ten seconds. Completely level. No tilt, no wobble, no sway. Then it just stopped and held a stable hover for about twenty seconds. After that it went from zero to fighter jet speed in an instant, banked, and terrain hugged down into a canyon drainage in two to three seconds. One account has it covering something like 1.5 miles in those few seconds. Range from the observers was 1.4 to 3.2 miles. Absolute silence. No engine roar, no whoosh, nothing.
Infrared from a handheld monocular showed a uniform thermal signature across the whole body, no hot spots, no exhaust gradient. Optical views through binoculars confirmed the featureless surface. The agents had drone experience: they said a small drone would have been audible at that distance. Next morning ground search found nothing. AARO notes the case warrants further investigation because it resembles other incidents reported in the same region. Some reporting indicates this is at least the third recent triangular report over sensitive test sites.
Look, previous PURSUE drops already had FBI interviews on black triangles, the huge silent one over Bagram in June 2002 that blotted out the stars, the Colorado Springs pair from October 2023 with optical distortion, the 2011 case. Now we have trained federal agents, thermal gear, and a detailed debrief from this year saying the performance exceeds near-term U.S. capability. Officials interviewed around the release have said the U.S. is still years away from matching what the witnesses described. Avi Loeb, on the UAP Science Advisory Council, put the open question bluntly: adversarial black project or non-human technology.

These aren’t the slow, light bearing triangles people have reported for decades. This one is small, silent, thermally uniform, and executing vertical rise, dead hover, then high speed canyon run with no visible propulsion. Over a restricted site. Documented by government agents. In the files released yesterday.
So what was it doing there? And if the performance is beyond what we or known adversaries can field right now, whose is it? The memo doesn’t answer that. It just records the agents’ account and flags it for more work. The rest of the tranche has AAWSAP/BAASS material and older Air Force reports, but this 2026 case is the one that sits in the present. No wreckage, no instrumented speed, no clear photos released, just the debriefs and the uniform IR signature.
Makes you wonder how many more of these are sitting in the next drop.
THE CONTROLLED DRIP
Seven batches of “disclosure” later and the public still has the same menu: grainy thermal blobs, secondhand witness stories, and the occasional artist sketch. No intact craft. No biologics. No clear sensor data that survives basic scrutiny.
The latest drop centers on a matte black triangle over a sensitive western site in 2026, silent, no visible propulsion, uniform thermal signature, vertical climb, hover, then a dive into a canyon. Officials note it matches other regional cases and “warrants further investigation.” That is the entire product after months of staged releases.
This is not disclosure. It is narrative management. The pattern is consistent: enough anomalous reports to keep the topic alive, never enough hard evidence to force real accountability or expose the recovery, reverse-engineering, and non-human intelligence programs that sit outside these public tranches. Skinwalker Ranch folklore and 1950s pilot memos get mixed in to dilute focus.
If the goal were transparency, the seventh release would not look like the first. Instead the public keeps getting managed ambiguity while the actual story, craft, materials, and whatever is operating them, stays compartmented. The drip is the point.
