POTUS Trump’s Network TV: See What I Did There?
THE HYPOCRISY THAT WOULD BE FUNNY IF IT WEREN’T SO TRANSPARENT
The same people shrieking “state-run media” about Trump TV: The Essentials Station spent the last six years defending a media cartel ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox that functioned as a de facto state propaganda arm for the administrative state. They didn’t call that state-run media because the “state” running it was the permanent bureaucracy, not the elected president.
State-Run Media (what we actually had): Five corporate networks coordinating editorial lines with intelligence community briefers, suppressing stories that threatened the administrative state’s political project, and laundering FBI/DHS/CISA talking points through “independent journalism” all funded by an advertising ecosystem that depended on the petrodollar financial architecture.
Trump TV Essentials: The executive branch putting its own speeches and events on a stream so Americans can watch them without going through the cartel that just walked out on the pool.
One of these is propaganda. The other is a direct feed. And the people who can’t tell the difference are either lying or too s----d to be in this conversation.
For the last five decades, the American public has been consuming de facto state-run media not because the government owned the networks, but because the networks and the intelligence state were functionally the same operation.
