We’ve been blasting math into the void like it’s a welcome handshake every civilization has to recognize.
Every probe, every SETI burst, every plaque we slap on a spacecraft is built on the idea that numbers and equations are the one thing that works everywhere.
What if they’re not. What if other minds don’t slice the universe into quantities the way we do, and everything we’ve sent just looks like random noise to them.
We’ve pointed dishes at the sky for decades waiting for a reply that follows our rules. Still nothing…Maybe they’re talking, just not in the dialect we decided was universal.
Kinda wild that the tool we think connects us might be the exact thing keeping us isolated.
What if the first message we miss is the one that never used math?
