You’re not living in 3 dimensions.
You’ve never lived.
A high school student just proved why everything you’ve learned about reality is incomplete.
Ready for this mind-bender:
Look at any object around you. A cup, a book, or even your phone will do. Now notice that it’s casting a shadow, and that shadow is always flatter than the object itself. A 3D cup on your table makes a 2D shadow. A 2D piece of paper held up to the light creates a 1D line on the wall. Every dimension casts a flatter version of itself down into the lower dimension.
Now reverse that idea.
If your body is 3D and the pattern always works the same way, your body could be the shadow of a 4D thing you can’t see.

In other words, you might not be the real thing.
There’s a shape that describes this, called a tesseract. A cube is six flat squares folded together. A tesseract is eight cubes folded together in a direction that doesn’t exist in our world. You can’t imagine it. No one can. Your brain evolved to help your ancestors escape tigers and find fruit, not to picture shapes in dimensions we can’t walk through.
When you try to imagine a tesseract, you’re actually just seeing its 3D shadow; just like an ant crawling on a piece of paper can only see the straight lines of your hand, never the real hand itself.
If every solid thing is actually the lower-dimensional shadow of something bigger, a bunch of weird science suddenly starts to make sense.
Tiny particles appearing in two places at once aren’t magic. They’re just a single 4D object leaving two shadows in our 3D world.
Particles on opposite sides of the universe reacting to each other instantly aren’t spooky at all, if they’re actually one object touching our reality at two different points; like how a finger dipped in water looks like two separate spots to a bug living on the surface.
There’s an old thought experiment that helps you get this.

Imagine a creature living on a completely flat piece of paper. It only knows left, right, forward, and back. It has no clue that “up” exists. Now push your finger down through the paper. To that creature, a circle appears out of nowhere, grows, shrinks, then vanishes. It spends its whole life trying to explain what it is. It invents theories, argues with other flat creatures, maybe even calls it a miracle. It would never guess it’s a finger, because “up” is a direction its brain literally can’t comprehend.
We’re that flat creature. The weird stuff scientists see in experiments could be fingers poking into our world from a direction we can’t look.
What that high school student explained so well is the limit of what your eyes and brain are allowed to see of reality.
