We Live In A Very Strange World:
People think just because they are louder that they are right.
People think that because they have more followers that they are right.
People think because everyone else is saying it means that they too are right.
People think just because their particular post has 100s of thousand of views that they are right.
People think just because they are upset and angry that they are right.
Theses Types Only Survive When the Numbers Are Strong
When you catch them as a isolated individual who can not rely on the crowd size to back their idiocy they no longer pump their chest out and try to beat you over the head with misinformation. Their entire persona hinges upon the engineered headlines where their food sources lies.

Let’s Use The Data Cehters For The Sake Of Argument
People have used the worn out argument about how data centers are using up all the fresh water. Who wouldn’t be concerned about not having access to clean drinking water right?
Mind you it didn’t even cross their minds that SpaceX is putting their Data Centers in orbit. Because many corporations are basically racing to the bottom for ground locations to store their data hubs. Many have considered Antarctica. But there is no local power grid. Many have considered the ocean. But they have to contend with water erosion.

If you want your argument to hold any water (no pun intended) then please be consistent with the point you are attempting to make.
An 18-hole golf course in a moderate climate consumes 312,000 gallons of water per day. In arid regions Arizona, Nevada, Southern California that number climbs to 1 million gallons per day.
There are approximately 16,000 golf courses in the United States. Do the math and you’re looking at 5 to 16 billion gallons of water consumed daily by golf courses alone. Annually? Somewhere between 1.8 trillion and 5.8 trillion gallons.
• Data centers? The largest hyperscale facilities consume roughly 1.8 to 3 million gallons per day at peak operation. The national estimate for all U.S. data centers combined sits around 174 billion gallons annually.

• Golf courses use up to 100 times more water than every data center in the country combined and golf courses serve what, exactly? A leisure activity for roughly 25 million Americans who hit a ball with a stick.

They run hospital systems, financial infrastructure, emergency services routing, logistics networks, cloud-based education, military communications, AI research that’s driving the most significant technological arms race since the Manhattan Project, and every single streaming service, social media platform, search engine, email provider, video call system, and cloud storage repository that the people opposing data centers use every waking hour of their lives.
