K’inich Janaab’ Pakal was buried in Palenque under a massive carved lid that still stops people cold.
The scene shows him reclining in a high-backed seat, hands positioned near what appear to be controls, a helmet or breathing apparatus framing his face, and distinct flame-like forms rising from below, exactly the posture and details later described in modern UAP pilot and contact accounts.
Erich von Däniken highlighted these parallels decades ago.
Official Maya scholarship insists every element is pure cosmology: Pakal traveling the World Tree into Xibalba, framed by the Earth Monster and celestial birds, symbols of death, rebirth, and kingship found across Classic Maya art.
Yet the composition keeps triggering the same reaction across generations of researchers and experiencers.
Why does a 7th-century Mesoamerican tomb lid so precisely match the seated-operator, life-support, and propulsion motifs reported in contemporary NHI craft descriptions?
