GIANTS ON MARS. THE SHOCKING VISION OF A STARGATE AGENT
One night in 1984, the CIA woke up its best “psychic spy” and sent his consciousness to Mars one million years in the past. What he saw there still gives people chills.
Joseph McMoneagle was peacefully asleep when the phone rang. A man arrived with a sealed envelope and said, “Begin the session. We’ll open the envelope only at the end.”
McMoneagle closed his eyes and began using the technique he had been taught in the ultra-secret Stargate program.
He started describing what he “saw.” First – an alien red landscape and a massive depression. Rising from it was a colossal pyramid, far larger than the one at Giza. Its walls stretched high into the sky, and inside were enormous halls and chambers. The structure looked as if it had been built by beings who knew how to overcome the laws of physics as we understand them – the weight of those walls should have caused everything to collapse, yet they remained standing.
Then they appeared.
Giant humanoids about three meters tall, but proportioned like ordinary humans. Very similar to us – arms, legs, body, and face. McMoneagle sensed that they were in a special state, something like deep sleep or stasis. These beings had survived a terrible catastrophe on their planet – volcanoes, a dramatic climate shift, and possibly the loss of their atmosphere. They were waiting for help that never came.
All of this was happening about one million years ago.

When the session ended, the monitor finally opened the envelope. The card read: “Planet Mars. Time of interest – approximately 1,000,000 BC.” The target was confirmed. McMoneagle had described all of this without knowing where he had been sent.
McMoneagle was not an ordinary employee. He held the title of Remote Viewer No. 1 in the Stargate program – a real U.S. intelligence project that operated from the 1970s until 1995. People there were trained in a special technique – focusing the mind to obtain information about any target, whether a person, object, place, or even a point in time. No gadgets, only a trained mind. The program cost millions of dollars and was used for real intelligence missions.
In this particular session, McMoneagle did more than see a pyramid and giants. He felt an overwhelming atmosphere of despair and hopelessness. Later, in detailed accounts, including a major interview in 2024, he added that the beings looked like the last survivors. Their civilization was dying, and they were trying to preserve themselves inside these enormous structures.
When high-quality images of Mars from NASA and JPL became available, some details from McMoneagle’s description unexpectedly echoed what appeared in the photographs – especially the anomalous structures in certain regions of the planet. Of course, there is no direct “proof,” but the similarities are enough to make you wonder.
McMoneagle’s story spread rapidly after part of the documents was declassified. He repeatedly said that during remote viewing sessions, what comes through is not just images, but entire emotional impressions. In the case of Mars, the feeling was especially powerful – as if he were witnessing the real remains of a long-lost civilization.
Today, people discuss it on podcasts, YouTube, and social media. Some imagine ancient Martians who may have been connected to Earth. Others simply admire the power of the human mind, capable of reaching so far.
McMoneagle continued working after that session, sharing his experience and teaching others. That night in 1984 remained one of the most remarkable moments of his career. A giant pyramid, three-meter-tall humanoids in stasis, and the feeling that Mars was once full of life that came to a sudden end.
