Mind blowing new theory from theoretical astronomer Brian Lacki (Breakthrough Listen Initiative, University of Oxford): To find long dead advanced civilizations, hunt for the pulverized microscopic remains of Dyson spheres embedded in the Moon’s regolith!
His preprint paper (arXiv, June 2026) argues that after an alien civ builds a massive Dyson swarm around its star, gravity causes catastrophic collisions once maintenance stops, grinding everything into “technograins” blasted across the galaxy by stellar winds.
Our Solar System, orbiting the galactic center, would plow through this interstellar dust reservoir. Tiny artificial grains could have gently settled on the Moon over eons, surviving where active signals from extinct civilizations have long faded. The universe is 13.8 billion years old, but our overlap with living ETs is tiny, ruins and dust are far more likely survivors!
This perfectly aligns with crash retrievals, ancient astronaut evidence, and NHI activity on Earth/Moon.
If advanced beings built galaxy spanning megastructures billions of years ago, their tech debris could explain anomalous lunar artifacts, “monoliths,” or even materials in UAP crashes.
