One of the most convincing UFO incidents in Europe happened during a football match.
Florence, 1954.
More than 10,000 spectators had gathered at a stadium to watch the game. Then, suddenly, the match had to be stopped.
The players stopped playing.
The referee stopped watching the game.
The entire stadium was looking at the sky.
Witnesses reported seeing a strange silver object moving slowly above the city. Some described it as a giant egg, while others compared it to a disc or a cigar-shaped craft.

But the most mysterious part came afterward.
Thin silver strands began falling from the sky, resembling spider silk.
They became known as “Angel Hair.”
Witnesses collected the strange fibers with their hands, yet many claimed that the material quickly vanished upon contact, as if it were dissolving.
This was not observed by just a handful of people – thousands witnessed it at the same time.
Decades later, researchers are still debating what actually happened over Florence that day.
