XSpirit: We are Living in the Most Information-saturated Period in Human History

We are living in the most information-saturated period in human history – and it is starting to change the way our thinking works.

The brain is not designed for a constant stream of notifications, news, videos, and reactions. It is not “multitasking.” It simply switches very quickly between tasks – and every switch has a cost.

You don’t notice it in the moment.
But inside, a constant process is happening:

interruption of concentration
reset of attention
loss of context
trying to “re-enter” the thought again

And this happens dozens, hundreds of times a day.

As a result, a strange effect appears:
a person is always busy, but less and less able to think deeply.

This is not physical fatigue.
This is cognitive overload.

The interesting part is that the brain begins to adapt.
It chooses speed over depth:

understand quickly → switch quickly → forget quickly.

And this becomes the new normal of perception.

But there is one thing that is often ignored:
deep thinking does not disappear – it is simply no longer given time to form.

Without “silence” inside information, thoughts stop forming into chains. They remain fragments.

We may be experiencing the first era where the problem is not a lack of information, but the inability to process it.

And the main deficit today is not data.
It is the silence between it.

And the question is…
did we lose it – or were we simply trained out of it?
