I Agree With POTUS On This Move:
This Has Been A Long Time Coming
These gatekeepers decided which ideas lived and which died under layers of peer review theater, DEI mandates, and risk-averse grant chasing that favored safe, publishable c–p over high-risk, high-reward science that could actually move the needle on medicine, tech, and human longevity. People have no idea how much progress was stifled by the NSB.
The NSB and its NSF apparatus funneled cash into networks where scientists chased citations and pharma partnerships instead of curing s--t. You all have to understand how massive this is.
Cancer research? Still throwing chemo at problems while novel modalities sat on shelves. Neurodegenerative work?
Bogged down in models that ignored real-world variables because the board’s consensus machine didn’t reward disruption.
The board rubber-stamped grants that kept the academic-industrial complex fat and happy universities raking overhead, Big Pharma extending patents on marginal tweaks, and careerists protecting their fiefdoms.
We are actually moving into an area where profit will no longer be put over the health & longevity of the American people. Without the board’s institutional inertia, expect faster IND approvals, off-label pathways, and funding redirected to actual efficacy data instead of safety theater designed to protect incumbents.
