Update from CENTCOM on the blockade.
The US MIL are not blocking the strait, they are blocking ships from leaving/entering Iranian ports.
No ships passed the blockade, and 6 merchant vessels trying to leave an Iranian port complied with US MIL and turned around.
Markets are starting to recover, gas is starting to go down, and Iran no longer has any ability to blackmail the world via sabotaging global oil supply.
In other words, Trump knows what he is doing, and Iran has lost its last remaining sliver of leverage.
Amazing.
The blockade is working, stock markets are recovering, oil prices are going down, and the Panicans are nowhere to be found.

All the people who said Trump was blocking the strait and the sky was falling, are mysteriously quiet when things are going well.
All crickets.
I’m having a blast watching all panicans and finance bros try to piece together how oil/gas prices are going down and the stock market is green.
It turns out, markets feel safer with the US MIL securing the strait, than they do with a radical Islamic terrorist regime holding the world hostage and sabotaging the flow of 20% of the world’s crude oil supply. Imagine that.
These people don’t seem to understand that Iran are the ones who made gas/oil go up, because Iran were the ones trying to prevent traffic in the strait, spooking energy markets. Trump and the US MIL just stabilized energy markets, by securing the strait.
However, understanding this situation would require these people to admit Trump actually knows what he is doing, which is something they are unwilling to consider.
By blockading Iran’s ports and securing the Strait of Hormuz, Trump has:
-stabilized global energy markets
-redirected trade to the Gulf of America
-gained leverage on Iran/China/EU

All in one fell swoop.
The Iranians are on the clock.
Every second they delay, the more money they lose. Without the ability to export oil, they will collapse.
Trump has no problem sitting in this position. We benefit from the blockade.
Then in 8 days, when the ceasefire deadline arrives, Trump will go back to obliterating their infrastructure.
It’s in Iran’s best interests to give Trump whatever he wants, and to do so quickly. They have no path to victory, and the longer they wait, the tighter the noose gets.
It’s all a matter of leverage. Art of the Deal.
