Will it be too technical for all of us now using our QFS Wallet today compared if Babe Ruth was using the ABS back in his days 100 years ago? Did he really even need it?
Ruth played from 1914 thru to 1935 in the days of the start of the Federal Reserve and the income tax, the Great War and the Great Depression.
ABS stands for the Automated Ball-Strike Challenge System and is a computerized system that began in pro baseball in 2026.
Other tidbits with me is that my SSI came in a few hours late on Tues. 31 Mar. with the usual amount, no increase as it was for March, and my credit union does not work with international bank wires so no SWIFT code is required.
My friend had to open up a new bank account as his present ones had issues, but now this one does not allow personal checks as it is going all digital, unless you want to pay $2 for a specified one or have a cashiers check or money order made out.
