Junior went to 2036 with John Titor. A choice made when he saw the Civil War of 2026. They delivered the IBM 5100 to Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs. That task could not wait a moment longer with all of the variables at play. There they met with the top military patriots working to save the planet by altering a key historical passage in our mainstream timeline, around which a new world could subsequently magnetize. Doing so meant Junior could never come back to his 1999 timeline in any long term way. There was one option, however, which he did have: going to the inflection point, the nexus between the old world and the new. December 21st, 2012. From there, he could act as a coordinator between realities and help steer the Great Awakening.
The Great Awakening was a Plan which involved using open source technology in a psychological operation to encourage the general public to research for themselves, and make key connections, thus becoming active participants in the invisible war being fought for control of the planet. This would come to be known as the Q Plan.
The consciousness of the people of the world was the secret weapon the Enemy most feared. A significant portion of the Enemy’s energy was directed toward mind control operations via the media, entertainment, and the school systems. In the past, they’d been able to steer public sentiment wherever they wished, creating entire agitprop realities out of whole cloth, with the skill of the greatest magicians. Time-travel-primed digital communication was the White Hat counter-offensive, meant to light a match to the fire of the human spirit, which had been dormant for far too long. Ultimately, this was a spiritual battle between Good and Evil. And Politics was the chessboard it was played out on, in 64 squares of black-and-white. Checkmate would be the 2024 Election and its Aftermath. The theme song was Nessun Dorma.

The Deep State would attempt to assassinate the King, yet the most strategic piece, the Queen, would be inviolable, because it would be an interdimensional player during the mainstream contest, in an alternate reality, so to speak, with a much greater perspective of the game being played. It would also serve to enlighten and empower the pawns crossing the board, so that they might become Queen pieces in their own right, much like in the game of chess.
