Millions of people will not be able to watch the EBS. I am from Nova Scotia, Canada and many had to cut on expenses, no cable tv, no satellite TV, just TV on the internet which will be off the air during the EBS.
How about TV repeater towers? Trudeau did not want us to know anything that is going on, so many towers were not converted, many are now used for cell phones or other companies. We have many dead areas for cell phones. My cottage is in Southwest Nova Scotia, no cell service, we did have 3 TV towers now all 3 are dead.
The only TV I have is on the internet. I know I am way back in the woods but we do have Bell Fiber Optic. Many people can only afford Fiber Internet, no TV. I live just outside Kentville where nobody has fiber optic. Here at my house I can get one snowy TV tower.
If you go a few miles inland, people do not even have that. For many people in North America, Internet TV is all they have so many will never know what is going on during the Broadcast.
