Reconstructed Transcript: “Death to Debt” (September 5, 2015 – Redding, CA)
(Delivered during a worship session at Bethel Church, Redding. Clement was in a prophetic flow, interspersing song and spoken word. The core declaration begins after a time of praise.)
“Listen to me, for the Spirit of the Lord says tonight, you have the power! You have the power to break the power of debt. For there shall surely be a death to debt, says the Lord. Death to debt! Death to debt! Death to debt! This nation shall enter into a period of time where they shall hear those words coming from the holy generation, from the chosen generation, from the royal priesthood: Death to debt! Death to debt! Death to debt!”
(Pause for applause and amens. Clement begins to sing a melody: “Death to debt, oh Lord, death to debt… the chains are breaking, the Jubilee is coming…”)
“Yes, I hear the Lord say, ‘This is the time of Jubilee. This is the time where debts are canceled, where the captives are set free. Like the children of Israel who walked through the wilderness and their shoes did not wear out, their clothes did not grow old, so shall it be for my people in this generation. They shall enter a state of renewal where they have no need whatsoever. For I am the God who provides, who multiplies, who breaks the yoke of the oppressor.'”
(Clement transitions to speaking, gesturing emphatically.)
“God says, ‘The economy of this country shall change rapidly. The spirit of Pharaoh shall be broken, and the money of the Egyptians shall be given to my people. For I am raising up a generation that will speak to the debt and say, “Death to you!” and it shall flee like a shadow. The banks, the lenders, the systems that have held my people in bondage—they shall tremble. For the Jubilee trumpet is blowing, and the year of release is upon you.'”

(He pauses, then adds with intensity.)
“And the Lord says, ‘Even now, in this season, you will see the first fruits. Watch the fall, watch the winds of change. The earth will be parched in some areas, and rain will come, signifying the opening of a door that has not yet been opened. The changing of the guard is apparent. Those who have stolen from my people will be exposed, and the wealth of the wicked will be laid at the feet of the righteous. Death to debt! It is a declaration from heaven, and it shall come to pass.'”
(Clement ends with a song: “Death to debt, oh Lord, death to debt… Jubilee is here, the chains are breaking free…”)
