Trump’s return to the White House isn’t just a sequel; it is the director’s cut with extra explosions, authorizing CIA ops that made Maduro’s intelligence spooks sweat a little bit more than they are used to while loading illegal cargo headed to the United States.
Offering up stakes in gold mines and crude fields? This was less a grand bargain and more Maduro tossing his car keys to a repo man, hoping to dodge the tow truck of full-blown intervention. Which I am sure he is very worried about.
