A champion of free speech and open intellectual debate. We have not travelled far from the 60’s to this very moment. The bigger picture has always been not the actual assassins themselves, and the conspiracies they invite, but whoever it was that sent them.
Charlie Kirk lived his high ideals and truth with courage and that will forever be celebrated. His family, however, are now without a father. To consider anything else, because of political differences, is to forfeit any sense of decency.
Kirk was not a neo-n--i or a white supremacist, terms used to invalidate someone’s humanity and thus make such violent and inhumane actions somehow more justifiable. Now Kirk has suffered the same fate that was intended for President Trump.
This action was intended to silence anyone whose voice might challenge the established world order, which has reacted in full- scale total revolt ever since the MAGA movement began.
Charlie Kirk was one of the movement’s most vocal and influential voices, particularly with youth. He was a leader in action and commitment, at a time when many would rather surf the internet for entertainment, checked out rather than checked in. He got out there and put his ideals into action. It’s okay if you didn’t agree with him, but he stood for a peaceful exchange of enlightened ideas and vision, the exact things this Country was founded on.
Charlie Kirk will be remembered as a hero and his death will not be in vain. Godspeed to him, his family, and anyone else saddened and discouraged by this ungodly act. We intend to carry on his mission with an even greater motivation and resolve.
