A Year Later

Ahh…finally relief!
After all the ahhhhhhs, ohhhhhs, ouchhhhhs and occasional levitating off the dental chair even momentarily, there is that relief I hoped for as mentioned in my previous article; Something to Chew On found here: https://shorturl.at/s3RUx
When I started this journey a year ago, there was one thing I did more than sitting in the chair most people dread. I trusted. Wholly, completely. Trusted, there was a better way than traditional dentistry and a dentist out there under the influence of healing the whole. No disrespect to any dentist.
Under the guidance and care of Dr. Shepard Delong of Lotus Dental Wellness, I trusted that one of the most important parts of my body-my home-would receive healing from the repairs and restoration of the doorway feeding the whole home. The doorway to my home along with the railings and steps have been restored. Not just fixed with temporary materials, but restored. Now the healing can begin. What does that mean? With all obstacles removed or repaired, healing that was blocked can now flow.
And the pain I believed was connected to other parts of my body due to the injuries mentioned in my previous article, reduced, gone, by half. Coincidence? Ok, sure. Why not? Since coincidence means to coincide (one thing coinciding with another) for a result that may not have been realized otherwise.
And a year later I didn’t just have a tooth fixed here and a filling repaired there. The doorway to my home has been restored and my trust in dentistry renewed. Not only due to the great care I was shown, but the industry itself is moving to whole wellness and our oral health can open wider in healing the whole home, the body.

With the source of much of the pain and discomfort I have endured over the last three decades removed, I feel restored. At least my body can relax and facilitate healing instead of managing pain. Something the body is designed to do, facilitate healing on all levels, all predicated on what it receives. What is your body receiving and is it facilitating healing?
Over this last year I have had many ask what was the cost of that restoration. Of course the human brain wants to quantify everything in monetary means. My question back is; what is the cost of not restoring the one area on your body that leads to health and wealth or disease and discomfort? Is this not a greater cost to your body, to your life, to the life of those around you?
If your body, ok the parts of your body that are in disarray can be restored where dis-ease and discomfort are no longer present, does it matter the monetary cost?
For me, another 30-years of muddling through the day, tripping over my pain, the cost was too high. Dr. Delong is truly a gift from beyond.
Now with the restoration of my doorway, all communication channels, the meridians of our bodies connected to every tooth, are open and reconnecting, allowing true healing to begin and move freely without obstructions to those areas that were cut off from the whole. How do I know? Same as anyone paying attention. We all know when our bodies feel better or worse. I feel stronger. I am more relaxed…and, I reduced my pain management staff. That’s how I know.
With the body stronger and the doorway feeding the body stronger…now that’s something to chew on.
