Because they were the ones who were cheering for K. Patel to become the new FBI head.

This alludes to the fact that once a particular former General who was fired in under 23 days is raided by the current FBI they will not be able to say the Deep State is going after this specific general.
They will attempt to try and have it both ways by saying K. Patel was corrupted and turned on MAGA because his girlfriend is an Israeli asset.
