Today I had a direct experience of the power of feeling my way through a situation using my intuition/heart.
I was determined to go into town today, even though it was raining with heavy falls ‘predicted’. I am the key holder for my AA meeting today and I had to go. I drove around flood water on my way into town….did some messages…then opened the meeting door.
I looked at the first person who walked into the room and suddenly had an overwhelming sense that I had to go home – NOW. I handed her the key, gave her a hug and raced to my car.
The drive home was scary. Driving conditions were treacherous. It seemed to take forever, then finally I was safely home. Within minutes the storm came in full force. I received an emergency alert soon after on my phone. I am safe, my property is fine. However this fresh storm will be heart-breaking for the flooding victims in my area.
Well, the rain is lashing my house as I write these words but all is well. This too will pass.
