Liebe Leser,

ich möchte angesichts der unprovozierten Angriffe der US Streitkräfte gegen Ziele im Iran etwas schreiben, über die vielen auffälligen Ähnlichkeiten im Verlauf der Geschichte, die uns als Zuschauer aus unterschiedlichen Blickwinkeln verkauft werden.

Fangen wir also an mit dem Luftschlag der Amerikaner gegen den Iran.

Der Iran hat, zumindest nach meiner Kenntnis, keine US-Streitkräfte angegriffen. Nirgends.

Sein einziges „Vergehen“ besteht darin, als selbständiger Staat nach einer Nuklearwaffe zu streben.

Ob er die zum Schutz seiner selbst oder zum Angriff auf Israel nutzen will…. Wer kann das mit Bestimmtheit zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt vorhersagen.

Und wenn eine solche momentan nicht existierende Waffe gegen Israel eingesetzt werden sollte, wäre es dann nicht Aufgabe Israels etwas dagegen zu unternehmen?

Dann die Situation Russlands. Nach der offiziellen Auflösung der Sowjetunion wurden Verträge ausgehandelt zwischen dem „Osten“ und dem „Westen“, die besagten: „Keine Ausdehnung der NATO nach Osten“ und „Keine Stationierung von NATO Einheiten in die ehemalige DDR“. Was wurde getan? Die NATO wurde erweitert, Stück um Stück, Land um Land, NATO Einheiten wurden auf das Gebiet der ehemaligen DDR verlegt (zB das taktische Hauptquartier der NATO in Rostock, um nur eines zu nennen).

Was macht Russland? Russland sieht die Gefahr kommen und setzt sich zur Wehr. Bevor noch kein NATO Fahrzeug die russische Grenze überschritten hat, könnte man dies sogar einen Angriffskrieg nennen, aber mal ehrlich: ist es nicht ein Präventivschlag?

Schauen wir in der Geschichte zurück, auf den sogenannten „deutschen Überfall auf Russland“. Die deutschen Streitkräfte konnten innerhalb weniger Wochen in Blitzkrieg-Manier vorrücken und überrollten die russischen Streitkräfte. Diese waren nicht auf einen Angriff der Deutschen vorbereitet, also auf eine Defensiv-Reaktion, sondern standen in Angriffsformation Welle um Welle bereit. Der sogenannte „Überfall“ war in dieser Situation also ein Präventivschlag.

Letztenendes wurde durch Verrat und katastrophale Fehlentscheidungen zur Frontbegradigung (und Verkürzung der Kampflinien) aus diesem sehr erfolgreichen Beginn ein Fiasko ohne Gleichen.

Die entsprechende Literatur hierzu aus dem russischen Sprachraum liegt seit Jahrzehnten vor.

Ebenso deutsche Literatur, die, soweit sie überhaupt noch zu bekommen ist, in aller Regel unter die „Bestimmungen der auszusondernden Literatur“ fällt, also der alliierten Zensur zum Opfer fällt.

Es gibt eben solche Literatur auch über den ersten Weltkrieg („Was jeder Deutsche vom Weltkrieg wissen muss“, von Paul Weege und Wolf Ewert), die eindeutig aufzeigen, welche Provokation und Vertragsbrüche zu welchen Handlungen der Deutschen führen mussten, sie systematisch in die Enge getrieben wurden, so, wie heute Russland.

Die Politik zielt hier eindeutig nicht auf De-Eskalation, sondern auf Eskalation und der Schritt der USA, den IRAN anzugreifen, reiht sich nun ein in die lange Liste dieser Schritte.

Stellen Sie sich vor, ich gehe in meiner Stadt 20 Strassen weiter zu jemandem hin und sprenge sein Auto in die Luft, „weil ich nicht will, dass er sich so schnell bewegen kann“.

Wäre das in Ordnung für Sie?

Oder ich ermorde die Angestellten des Labors im Nachbarstadtviertel, weil die an Forschungen beteiligt sind, die Ihnen die gleichen Maschinen liefern würden, wie ich selbst sie habe.

Wer gibt mir das Recht dazu?

Nun, Sie haben Recht: das ganze  ist ein wenig komplexer.

Lassen Sie uns doch mal weiter graben:
Der Iran hat heute eine andere Regierung als vor 30 Jahren zB.

Damals gab es Persien, ein weltoffenes Land. Aber mit einem Schah, der gewissen Kreisen ein Dorn im Auge war und ersetzt wurde.

Sie sehen: was heute logisch erscheint, dem wurde vor Jahrzehnten die Grundlage gegeben. Vorher gab es diese Grundlage nicht.

Dieselbe Lage in Korea. Süd- und Nordkorea waren einmal ein friedliches, geeintes Land.

Wo wir auch hinschauen, die Pulverfässer sind nicht „einfach mal so“ oder durch Zufall entstanden.

Es geschah bewusst gesteuert.

Und Sinn meines Artikels heute ist nicht, sie weiter auf diese Reise in die Geschichte zu schicken, sondern ihnen die Freifahrkarte dort hin zu übereichen.

Dear readers

In view of the unprovoked attacks by US forces against targets in Iran, I would like to write something about the many striking similarities in the course of history that are being sold to us as viewers from different angles.

So let’s start with the American air strike against Iran.

Iran has not, at least to my knowledge, attacked any US forces. Nowhere.

Its only “offense” is to be an independent state seeking a nuclear weapon.

Whether he wants to use it to protect himself or to attack Israel…. Who can predict that with certainty at this point in time.

And if such a currently non-existent weapon were to be used against Israel, wouldn’t it be up to Israel to do something about it?

Then there is Russia’s situation. After the official dissolution of the Soviet Union, treaties were negotiated between the “East” and the ‘West’, which stated: “No expansion of NATO to the East” and “No stationing of NATO units in the former GDR”. What was done? NATO was expanded, piece by piece, country by country, NATO units were relocated to the territory of the former GDR (e.g. NATO’s tactical headquarters in Rostock, to name but one).

What is Russia doing? Russia sees the danger coming and defends itself. Until a NATO vehicle has crossed the Russian border, this could even be called a war of aggression, but let’s be honest: isn’t it a pre-emptive strike?

Let’s look back in history to the so-called “German invasion of Russia”. The German armed forces were able to advance in blitzkrieg style within a few weeks and overran the Russian armed forces. The latter were not prepared for an attack by the Germans, i.e. a defensive reaction, but stood ready in wave after wave of attack formation. In this situation, the so-called “raid” was therefore a pre-emptive strike.

In the end, betrayal and catastrophically wrong decisions to straighten the front (and shorten the battle lines) turned this very successful start into an unparalleled fiasco.

The relevant literature from the Russian-speaking world has been available for decades.

The same applies to German literature, which, insofar as it is still available at all, generally falls under the “provisions of literature to be excluded”, i.e. it falls victim to Allied censorship.

There is also literature on the First World War (“Was jeder Deutsche vom Weltkrieg wissen muss”, (“What every German should know about the Worldwar”) by Paul Weege and Wolf Ewert), which clearly shows which provocations and breaches of treaty had to lead to which actions by the Germans and how they were systematically driven into a corner, just as Russia is today.

The policy here is clearly not aimed at de-escalation, but at escalation, and the US move to attack IRAN now joins the long list of such moves.

Imagine I walk up to someone 20 streets away in my town and blow up their car “because I don’t want them to be able to move that fast”.

Would that be okay with you?

Or I murder the employees of the lab in the next neighborhood because they are involved in research that would provide you with the same machines I have.

Who gives me the right to do that?

Well, you’re right: the whole thing is a bit more complex.

Let’s dig a little deeper:

Iran has a different government today than it did 30 years ago, for example.

Back then there was Persia, a country open to the world. But with a Shah who was a thorn in the side of certain circles and was replaced.

As you can see, what seems logical today was founded decades ago. This basis did not exist before.

The same situation in Korea. South and North Korea were once a peaceful, united country.

Wherever we look, the powder kegs didn’t happen “just like that” or by chance.

It was deliberately controlled.

And the point of my article today is not to send them further on this journey into history, but to hand them the free ticket there.
