What I Think The President Will Do: Measuring The Outcome
Donald Trump is transitioning to a more strategic approach to removing illegal immigrants. Americans/MAGA want a rushed job without considering how this would create a recession. Then the media will use that to further slander him. He is already being called a traitor by his own base. So there are fractures. What I think is going on now is he will probably repurpose ICE. In what manner? Instead of bussing down doors and raiding job sites they will more than likely start with paper & pen instead of gun & handcuffs.
How?
D. Trump will probably deploy ICE task forces to catalog undocumented workers by sector, skill, and geographic concentration. Use biometric scans (e.g., iris recognition) to build a database of 2 million high-priority cases (e.g., agriculture, meatpacking).
Then he will assign about 5,000 ICE agents, supported by 1,000 data analysts, with $500 million from DHS budgets. Leverage existing NSA surveillance tech to track movements without public notice.
Mapping follows entropy reduction organizing chaotic labor flows into ordered datasets, enabling precise intervention. Processing speed (10,000 scans/day) ensures completion in 90 days.
This Identifies critical nodes (e.g., 40% of California’s farm labor) for targeted action, avoiding blanket disruption.
Does this sound like a more reasonable approach to you?

He is already doing a sort of incentive where he offers money for a more voluntary removal from the illegals themselves. He can further enhance this with a enforcement that has a mandatory check-in at 200 processing centers. He can assign agents if he so chooses.
I say that because he can then allocate $7.5 billion from seized cartel assets, supplemented by $2 billion in redirected foreign aid. He can deploy 3,000 National Guard troops to secure centers. Incentives reduce resistance by lowering the energy barrier to compliance, per behavioral economics. Transport logistics (500 buses, 20 cargo planes) scale to 50,000 departures/week. This will shrinks the undocumented pool by 18% voluntarily, easing pressure on enforcement and gaining public support as a “humane solution.” But again he is already doing this to some degree.
This is just me brainstorming what is probably already in the works to some degree. Because what he can do from this point is double his effort with way more homework to his objective. And he can target the remaining 6.5 million, starting with 1 million in essential sectors (e.g., dairy, construction). Simultaneously recruit 1.2 million unemployed US citizens and legal immigrants, offering $15/hour wages (20% above current undocumented pay) via a “Patriot Workforce Initiative.”
The President has a lot on his plate at the moment. So I can understand why he may be in a sort of conundrum at this time. But I know some of this has crossed his mind to some degree. Because again all I think he will do to bolster up his mission to liberated America is deploy 10,000 ICE agents and 5,000 Border Patrol, with $3 billion for enforcement. Fund workforce training with $1.5 billion from infrastructure budgets, training 50,000 workers/month.
Then Labor substitution follows supply-demand equilibrium raising wages (energy input) attracts domestic labor, stabilizing output. Training accelerates skill transfer (100 hours/worker) to match undocumented productivity. This is an advantage that can Replaces 15% of the workforce organically, framing Trump as a job creator while enforcing immigration law, appealing to his base. This is how he can maintain his momentum going forward without causing his own voter base to be economically affected by the transition but could benefit them with new jobs waiting as these deportations ramp up.
