When the imagination points its compass needle at the topic of ET discosure – and of course the resulting benefits – it naturally enough comes up with all the ways the govt or maybe some kind of international initiative could introduce the knowledge into the public sphere in the most people friendly manner possible.
Conferences, educational programmes, committees etc. The whole aim being that people get a grasp on the various issues and encounter the data in as encouraging, welcoming, stimulating and interest evoking ways as possible.
Ways that synchronise perfectly with whatever faiths they embrace or beliefs they hold, augmenting and enriching them in a manner that enhances their lives and their sense of belonging in the cosmos generally.
After all, why should our disposition toward the universe as our home be any less comfortable or peace and security embracing than that that our (currently) more enlightened cosmic brethren enjoy.
Just because we are unfortunate enough to have had a little history with the wrong sort of ET’s (along with the right).
Before that of course the task is to clear the board of those who because of their loyalty to agendas that do not serve people’s true and lasting interest, would not wish to see disclosure come about in any kind of fashion – unless it involved their former negative compadres.
Which is where we are now – hopefully – clearing that board.

I really wanted to get over the notion that when people work with people in friendly ways with no other agenda other than to broaden their understanding – to the extent they wish it broadened and are interested – there is no amount of truth and knowledge that cannot be considered in such an environment.
Really there isn’t.
Especially when they get to freely discuss and question wherever they like.
No fuss, no drama, just a welcoming to a new, expanded, nonthreatening but wonder evoking and expansive horizon at a pace suited to any particular individuals taste.
That is the kind of disclosure situation we should be aiming for.
Actually, at an intuitive guess, I would say that is where we are headed, and whereas I don’t want to say that however well and positively you or I can imagine such a scenario there is a positive AI that can formulatively imagine it in a better and more wonderful way, I nonetheless would not be surprised if such were the case and it had already done just that.
Remains to be seen.
