I think you are talking about the Hollow Earth. Beyond the ice wall is what all flat earthers love talking about.
Nobody ever mentions the serious offer by a wealthy airline pilot to fly flat-earth believers to the edge of the ice wall for free … no charge and no strings attached. He was banned from his Facebook flat earth buddies after the offer. He was met with ridicule and verbal attacks. That is all a person needs to know about that group. Instead of intrigue he got crap for trying to prove a point. Instead of being excited about a free adventurous trip to the ice wall to prove the existence of the ice wall, he had zero takers for the flight.
Admiral Byrd flew beyond the ice and discovered new lands, alright. His story is amazing. The book ‘The Hollow Earth’ by Raymond Bernard was fascinating. I read the book in the early 70’s and have been intrigued ever since.
I’m far more inclined to believe in the Hollow Earth than a flat earth. It makes more sense to me, given all information provided by first hand accounts. It was an historical flight.
Quite frankly, I’d believe in little green men from Mars before I’d buy into flat earth.
