TECHNOLOGICAL SUPREMACY
Sticks and stones led to swords, bows and catapults, followed by pistols and cannons. Later balloons and bombs gave way to planes and submarines. At one point the Atomic Bomb, delivered across the world by a rocket was thought to be the epitome of technological supremacy. Today at the outset of the twenty first century and the seventh and last millennium, the quest for supremacy has not abated. There are still among the children of God on this Earth they who seek to take power by the destruction of their fellow beings. They have developed, and tested, machines that do, in fact, alter the weather, create storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, terrible beyond nature, and they do in fact bring down fire from the heavens in the form of rays equal to and even more powerful and more devastating than seen in nature. There are currently poised, above us, great tungsten rods weighing many tons each, mounted in delicate frames, waiting to be released to fall upon our heads. Their destructive power exceeds that of the atomic bombs of the past century. Those maniacs have learned to cause terrible earthquakes and even volcanoes, and tsunamis that k--l hundreds and thousands in a few minutes.
We may reasonably ask, “WHY?” What is it in the hearts of those people that causes them to seek to do such harm to others? This tendency was manifested even in the first century of the first millennium, when first, a brother stood and k----d a brother. In that instance the cause was said to be that the killer was seeking to obtain the greater wealth of his brother. We know that the killer did not prosper from his evil act either in this world or in the world to come.
These days it seems that that initial cause may still be present but there is now on the world thousands of times more people than were here in those first years. It appears there is more crowding and food is less abundant. Beyond that however is the great confusion in the minds of the children of God as to the nature of God and our relationship to Him. This confusion, the product of false prophets and designing criminals, has resulted in divisions both physical and metaphysical. The divisions have resulted in angst, conflicts and wars.
Who has gained from all this violence? Great Armies have come and gone. Kings have risen and fallen. Men have gained enormous heaps of wealth and died. Nations have flourished and vanished. The Earth’s orbit around sun has hardly changed in all these thousands of years. “What hath a man, if he should gain the whole world and loose his own soul?” This is a temporal world we live in. No man will live forever on this temporal world, no matter how much wealth or power he should gain and no matter if he should gain the last and most powerful technological supremacy.
This world belongs to the Creator, not to any man or nation. When the Creator’s
purposes are finished, He will cleanse this world and it will become a celestial world, forever free from confusion, and war. We are very near to the first time of cleansing and we are only about one thousand years from that final day of cleansing. This last thousand years will begin with some trouble but then will be at peace until the very end, which will involve one final battle, where good will forever dispose of evildoers. The Creator is one who has many names including Emanuel, Jehovah, and Jesus, the Christ. The only other true and living God in this creation is God our Eternal Father, sometimes called Elohim. There are no others, not all the carved images or false spirits or man made religious organizations.
