How To Relax Into Anything So You Don’t Croak Under The Pressure
-A Simple Guide To Freeing Yourself in a Fubar World
An introduction, so you have some context…
For those unfamiliar, fubar means: f****ed up beyond all recognition.
We are living through the final fall of the very f----d up old paradigm empire, and we need a healthy way to handle that. Not just externally, but internally too, because we are so psychologically demanded upon by this process.
Ways from the past that didn’t serve us, but which we got used to over thousands of generations, are falling apart. The old world couldn’t give us what we really wanted. It was fubar from the start. What it gave us instead was suffering, but now we know through that experience everything that doesn’t work to make us happy.
The key to understand here is that we ‘fell from Grace’ a long time ago when we lost consciousness of our root in the Divine Source and started to believe we were separate from each other, everything we could want, and the Source we came from. Something not true at all. Then, in a great, pain-filled confusion, rather than to act out of the goodness of our hearts, as is natural to us, understanding that everyone’s happiness is our own and everyone’s pain is also our own, we began hypnotically to repeat the mantra “I-Me-Mine” and started to fight for everything and with everything. We created our expiring dark paradigm by being unable to act in unity for everyone’s well-fare because we forgot about love.
Now that time is closing, and this brief guide is meant to remind us of the only thing that will get us through this disintegration process to the other side. We have to break the momentum of that mantra and this is how to do it.
There are just three steps to this, with instructions for each one. It’s simple, but ‘impossible’ to do because our egos always want to intervene to protect and control, yet we must do it anyway, because there’s no alternative. To the normal, thinking, ego mind, this will make no sense, seem ridiculous and counter-productive. It will be resisted. But, if we want relative peace of mind, happiness, and freedom, this is what we have to do. And if we want the whole big Enchilada of Enlightenment and Total Freedom, we’ve got to make this our art form par excellence.

Ready?
This is what to do when ‘something’ happens:

Step 1. Relax.
Instructions:
Re-lax means to loosen and let go repeatedly, again and again, particularly of your muscles. If you can make your muscles relax, that means you are making your mind relax. When the mind relaxes, good things can happen. More explanation on this coming shortly. Just remind yourself continuously what you are doing this for or the ego will take the field.
Relaxing is a continuous non-action action. What we do is to stop doing.
stop moving,
stop distracting,
stop planning,
stop figuring out,
stop running away from…
stop everything the ego wants to do in the moment to “cope” with the situation.
Just let yourself come to a stand-still.
There is only one thing we do not stop. It is our most important bodily process, and we use it to empower our ability to create with – breathing.

Breathing is the flow of the lifeforce through the body. When we stress we stop breathing because we’ve panicked. We’ve panicked because we’ve decided there is something to control so we stay safe. We tell ourselves, “Something is wrong! And now I must do something about it!”
Instead of stressing and cutting off the flow of energy inside us,
we just relax and let our bodies breathe.

The reason to relax instead of to use coping mechanisms (freeze, flee, fight) is that coping is not creative; it doesn’t solve anything; it can’t come up with a proper response because:
a. coping comes from the ego, and the ego is just a set of programs based on past experience and therefore cannot create anything new. The ego is always projecting the past onto the present because of its unresolved trauma. It is not in the present, so it cannot help.
b. a solution is not what will help us then.
We don’t need a solution because we don’t have a problem to begin with.
Mostly, when we are triggered, we are being triggered because the ego mind imagines that what it sees is a problem and then gets busy trying to do something about it. “Doing” is the ego’s reason to be. What we really have is just a passing experience, like clouds in the sky. How will we handle it? Will we react and let it control us or will we relax and let our divinity emerge?

Step 2. Suddenly, just relax again.
Instructions:
Don’t give yourself any warning. Just jump right in and take control (relax) before the ego figures out what’s happening.
When an event occurs and we re-act, that means we have formed a “point of view,” a myopicism, rather than having kept an open mind. We contract when we should expand. Think of a zoom lens closing in tightly around a specific point of view. Now compare that to a wide-angle lens that gives us the panorama. If we cannot see the big picture, we cannot act appropriately, if we need to at all.

Psychologically, a myopicism happens when we clench around something, usually which we do not like. It’s the speck on the otherwise spotless surface.
When we clench, we try to resist or to flee, but in effect, we are simply stuck there. We try to change things. We get grumpy and dark. This is the worst thing we can possibly do. Were we to be able to relax in the face of a “fubar-ity” we would expand out big enough for our Natural Self to flow in and we’d feel good instead of bad. We’d feel light instead of heavy. We’d feel possibility instead of dread. We may even laugh about it. That’s a very good sign.
As s----d as this sounds, we have to learn not to care about what’s happening so we stay relaxed and able to deal with it constructively – or even to play while it’s happening. This is how we best take care of ourselves. This is actually the highest form of love – to allow everything to be just as it is.
So, the difference between being able to handle fubarity and not being able to is in being willing to make the choice to experience feeling good over feeling bad. Once we make that choice we are taking a turn onto the street that brings us where we want to go.

Step 3, The Final Step: Continue relaxing continuously.
This may sound redundant, or like a piece of new age Zen bs, but it’s really “tried and true.” All the saints and sages say so.
